Palawan

Ang Palawan ay isang pulong lalawigan ng Pilipinas na matatagpuan sa rehiyong Luzon. Ang Lungsod ng Puerto Princesa ang kapital nito at ang pinakamalaking lalawigan sang-ayon sa laki ng lupain. Bumabagtas ang mga pulo ng Palawan mula sa Mindoro hanggang Borneo patungong timog-kanluran. Matatagpuan ito sa pagitan ng Dagat Timog Tsina sa hilangang-kanluran at Dagat Sulu sa timog-silangan.
Pinangalan ang lalawigan sa pinakamalaking pulo ang Pulo ng Palawan.


Lungsod ng Puerto Princesa

Ang Puerto Princesa ay isang 1st class na lungsod at ang punong lungsod 

ng lalawigan ng Palawan sa Pilipinas. Ayon sa sensus ng 2000, may 

populasyon ito ng 161 912 sa 33 306 sambahayan. Tanyag ang lungsod sa 

kaniyang mga crocodile farm, mga ilog sa ilalim ng lupa, at mga dive 

spot.

Palawan is an island province of the Philippines. The provincial capital is Puerto Princesa and it is the largest province in terms of land area. It is considered as the last frontier of the Philippines.

The island of Palawan stretches from Mindoro to Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the South China Sea in the northwest and Sulu Sea in the southeast. Palawan is considered to be the Philippines' last ecological frontier. The province boasts many splendid beaches and resorts and it is where the Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, is located.
